Striker Extraordinaire.

I just wanted to throw this one out there to show you all that Kenzie already knows how to celebrate after putting one in the net.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

Little Creek Cove

In May we got a three day weekend and headed down to Newport to a little place called Little Creek Cove. They were very cool condos right on the water. We rented the one called the Eagle's Nest. Not realizing that there were 50 steps up to the top. I definitely got my workout in, carting all of our stuff up to the condo. But the views were amazing, and Shelley and the kids loved it.
It was a little windy and Riley was not a big fan.

Sheltering Riley from the ocean breezes.

Our little model posing outside by the pond.

This looks like a cute and innocent picture, until you realize that she has kicked her Crocs off into the water and is dipping her toes in the pond.

Kenzie sporting her new Old Navy hat.

Kenzie loves playing in the sand at the beach.

This is one of our views from the Eagle's Nest.

We also went to the Oregon Aquarium, and McKenzie is checking out the Puffins.

Daddy and Kenzie inside one of the big fish tanks. It was really cool.

Whoa! Dad! Did you see the size of that fish?

Just a word of warning, watch out for the giant tortoises at the Aquarium...they can get ya if you're not paying attention.

Kenzie found a nice gentle one that gave her a ride.

Who's got the bigger mouth?

Inside the shark tunnel...it was really neat. We spent a lot of time here.

I think this is the third miracle, where Kenzie walked on water...

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling...

Of course I had to try and wrap him in my Irish scarf. It's tradition! Or maybe I just started it.
Proud sister, she of the long golden braids, gently holding her sweet little brother.
Sometimes, I likes to pet Ri-el-lee! Yep, she makes it a three and sometimes four syllable name. Very creative. Now, if she would only pet doggies as much as she likes to pet Riley.
First time at church. Of course he loved it, and got a kick out of the music.
Hanging out before bedtime. Maybe a Chester Raccoon story?
Holding my little boy.
Riley started to get a little grouchy for Mommy during the photo shoot.
So fuzzy, like a baby duck.
I must have told a really funny joke. Apparently Riley missed the punch line.
Auntie Linda and the kids.
Kind of an angelic shot of McKenzie reading in her pink room.
Little bear, little bear, what do you see? I see Mommy looking at me.
Can you say model shot? I had her stand over the heating vent so it would blow her hair like this.
Obviously this was before I got to Photoshop and fixed her teeth for the before mentioned model shot. :)
Frosting cookies with Nana.
Hanging out with Nana and Puppa.
Superstar! Check out this little princess posing for the camera.
Auntie Carrie and Riley.
Gramma and Grampa feeding Riley and hanging out.
Just wanted to let you know that Riley took this picture himself. We'll call it the "self portrait."
And of course the siblings hanging out in the Papasan chair.

The New Addition

In case you didn't know, on January 9th, 2009, Shelley had a C-section and delivered Riley Matthew Milligan. Here is Mom, hoping that they finish sewing her up because it feels really weird on the other side of that sheet.
Man that stethoscope is cold! Can't you at least warm it up before you touch it to my brand new skin. I think you gave me my first case of Goose Bumps!
Yep, that's right! 8lbs. 15oz. I'm a big boy...
Dr. Mc-something holding his newborn son.
Only a few minutes old, and already they're doing his prints.
Proud Mom with her little guy.
Manchester United, these are your next goal scorer's feet.
The Big Sister who loves her Baby Brudda.
Our great doctor, Dr. Siraf.

After a couple of extra nights in the hospital we are ready to go home. Yippeeeeee!
The kids.
Big Sister McKenzie loves kissing her little brother Riley all of the time. Especially when he is asleep.
