The Portland Zoo

So, Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo the other day. It was amazing. All these animals that I had read about in books and seen in Disney movies, were actually there. They couldn't talk, but that's ok. Maybe they were shy.Daddy's favorite part was when we went underground and could watch the ginormous sea lions swimming underwater. They were so graceful. Like big blubbery angels with whiskers.
Next we went into the Larakeet area, and Daddy fed the REALLY LOUD birds some sugar water. They were really pretty.

Mama Bear and Baby Bear.
For some reason, Daddy took me into this really scary area of the zoo where they had dinosaurs. They were really LOUD, and I just kept saying DINOSAURS LOUD, for the rest of the day. It was really traumatic.
Just trying to get a giraffe kiss. Even if it is a sticker on the window of the gift shop.
Looking at Mommy's favorite animal at the zoo, the giraffe.

Apparently these bears aren't real, even though the one behind Daddy keeps trying to steal my brand new seal that I got in the gift shop. I really like his whiskers. We found out later that day, that a baby elephant was born at the zoo. So cool!

Kids

This is your kid.

This is your kid after she has dug into your wife's purse, pulled out a feminine product, opened it, thought it was string cheese, and has attempted to eat it.

Kauai_2008

So, I finally got to ride on an airplane! It was really cool. They had snacks, and movies, but my dad was too cheap to pay for the headphones, so we watched the movies without any sound. Kung Fu Panda was funny, even though I didn't know what they were saying. Mommy and Daddy took me to Kauai, which is a really neat place.

One night, I was so excited to be in Kauai, that when I was running down the hall, I blew out my diaper! I mean it just came flying off, and I didn't know how to get it on again. Good thing it's warm in Kauai, cuz otherwise my little buns would have been freezing.

I spent a lot of time in the really cool pool at Waipouli Outrigger. It had two slides, and waterfalls, and a sandy part of the pool for kids like me to play in.

The Cowlitz County Fair

The other day, Mommy and Daddy took me to the fair to look at the animals. They were lots of fun, except for the goats. They were LOUD! I don't like loud things except for myself. I like to hear myself scream sometimes. Apparently I'm not loud to myself, but I'm loud to my parents because they tell me to "shhhhhh!"

This is me trying to get a bunny to mistake my finger for a carrot. His nose was really soft, and wiggled a lot.

For a long time, I thought that this doggy was real, but then, I noticed that he would lick my finger, so I figured he must be a stuffed animal of some kind.

This is Mommy and me saying hi to Wilbur. He was an "Amazing" and "Terrific" pig.

Mt Vernon

So, the other day, I went with Mommy up to Gramma and Grampa's house in Mt Vernon. They had a pool out in the backyard and everything. It was awesome! I even stole a hat from Great Gramma McCloud. Workin' on my tan!

I even got to go down a sweet slide with my good buddy Luke Hansen!

First Kiss

So, the other day this kid stops by to play, and so I'm playing it cool. I share my Kix with him, a few goldfish crackers, some of my toys, and then he plants one on me! Can you believe it! I mean really! I hope my dad has a talk with him. I mean, I don't kiss until the..."What was that Daddy? Not until I'm 16? Alright."

4th of July Parade

My daddy talked me into walking, well, riding in the 4th of July parade. His work had some people walking in the parade, tossing candy and temporary tattoos out to the kids. He never tossed any of the candy my way. But just wait til Mom checks out my new tatts!
