Marinara!

Mmmmmm! I sure love Italian food. I like to leave some on my face for later. Hopefully no one will notice...

Li'l Cowgirl

Yeehaw! What do you think of my new duds? They are so cool. And this is my sidekick Jorge' or George. Now... if only I could get Mom or Dad to buy me a pony...

"Working" in the Yard

Last Sunday, Shelley had a meeting after church, so McKenzie and I went out in the backyard, since it was 59 degrees outside, and planted two blueberry bushes. I turned around for two seconds and she had yanked up one of the newly planted bushes and was running away with it. She really enjoyed "helping" me dig, and likes getting in the dirt and finding things. I'm sure as the weather warms up, we will be spending a lot more time back there. Thank God for a new fence! It is nice to relax to know that she won't be running out into the street. Hopefully those blueberry bushes take off soon, so we can have some Blueberry Pancakes...mmmmmmm.

If you look really close, you might think those are chocolate cookie crumbs around McKenzie's mouth. They're not. It's dirt. She's a dirt-eater.

Puppa and Momaw

Puppa and Momaw (Gramma and Grampa) visited this weekend, and we had a great time. McKenzie loved tackling Puppa Mike, and loved having Momaw Kathie read to her. We had some beautiful weather, and Pop and I got to go fly fishing on the Kalama River. No fish, but it was sure great to get out and throw a fly.

Cute as a button

Just decided to do a little photo shoot since it was nice outside. McKenzie wasn't in much of a smiling mood though.

The Little Heartbreaker

Aah, Valentine's Day, when men frantically run by Safeway on their way home from work to purchase roses that have sky rocketted to the price of gold...Well, anyways, McKenzie had a great Valentine's Day. She got a cool outdoor chair for the backyard, which she tried out, A LOT, in the play room. She gave out lots of kisses and hugs, and received a Valentine from Mommy that had a doggie on it. She carried that around for days, because I think she equates puppies and kitties with love.

I'm singing, to my Daaaaaaaddy, and I love you, I love you, I loooooooove yooooooooooou, Daaaaaaaddyyyyyyyyy!

Snow!

Well, it finally happened. It snowed in the tropical town of Kelso. A whole 4 inches! Pretty impressive when you think that school closes for frosty roads around here. McKenzie was super excited, and her Dad wanted to make a snowman with her, so, after much bundling, we headed outside, and proceeded to create the snowman with the coolest hair on the block. McKenzie loved it, but got cold after a while and wanted to go back inside. Our cool snowman didn't last long, and tipped over. Oh well maybe in another 5 years it'll snow again.
